What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy has been around for more than 200 years and there are over 5000 remedies. It uses various plants, minerals, and even animal sources as remedies in very small doses to stimulate the body's natural ability to heal. Homeopathy treats symptoms holistically meaning they focus on whole body to improve ones health (body & mind). Everyone of all ages can benefit from using homeopathy it is also safe for pregnant women, infants and even pets.

Homeopathy is used worldwide to treat Acute and Chronic health conditions. Homeopathy is also used to treat your constitution (personality type) to achieve overall health on all systems of the body mental, emotional and physical. In order to treat your constitution the homeopathic practitioner must conduct a thorough analysis of the patient. This includes learning about the patients dreams, fears, anxieties, temperment, whether they are generally happy, moody or sad etc. and much more. When Homeopaths treat your constitution only one remedy is given to heal all systems of the body this is also known as classic homeopathy.

Homeopathy has worked effectively in treating the following:
skin disease
cold &  flu's
sprains & broken bones
allergies
depression /ADHD
digestive problems
infectious diseases
genetic/ psychological disorders
and much more...

Acne is a dermatologic condition characterized by lesions that most often appear on the face and neck, but also  develop on the chest, back, shoulders and upper arms. Acne is characterized by pimples, cysts and abscesses. It occurs when the pores in the skin are blocked, trapping oil, dead skin and bacteria in the hair follicles. Under normal circumstances, glands (called sebaceous glands) attached to hair follicles  secrete an oily substance known as sebum. This sebum typically travels up the hair follicle and onto the skin. However, if the hair follicle is blocked, the sebum can’t get out, sometimes causing the formation of a blackhead. This is the result of the blocked oil oxidizing, causing inflammation and an influx of white blood cells. Meanwhile, normally present bacteria begin to break down the trapped sebum within the hair follicle. This results in further inflammation, as white blood cells attack the bacteria. Pus forms as the lesion enters the whitehead stage. In more severe stages, an abscess—a pus-filled pocket within the skin—may form. Although most pimples won’t leave lasting scars, anything that damages the dermis (the layer of skin just underneath the epidermis) can leave a permanent scar.

Acne can be caused by environmental and genetic factors, but genetics seems to predominate. The role of hormones also can play apart especially at puberty. Unlike male-hormone androgens,  female-hormone estrogens have a beneficial effect on acne, which is why some doctors recommend birth control pills for women who have acne. Further, oils in aerosol sprays, as well as excessive washing or scrubbing of the skin, can exacerbate acne because these cause increased skin-oil production. Use of many types of cosmetics, oil-based hair products, and suntan lotions can block oil glands and worsen acne.

The Role of Diet in acne I recommend that people who suffer from acne should strive for the “cleanest” diet possible, concentrating on fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, and reducing their intake of saturated fat and processed sugar. Eliminate dairy, which may reduce the presence of hormones that cause acne. Healing the digestive system is key, not consuming a diet high in Tran’s
fats, fried foods and sugar allows it to heal. Finally, clients with acne should drink plenty of clean, filtered water.

Like everyone else who gets into the natural health care field it all starts by trying to fix my own health problems and with success I found my passion and motivitation to go learn more about alternative medicine and healing especially through foods.

I had suffered from severe acne, digestive problems as well as emotional eating my entire life

When I had acne I had tried tons of creams, ointments and cleansers that ended up costing me thousands of dollars in the end, none of them worked! The only one product that seemed to work for a few months was Proactiv. That was until I broke out in hives all over my face after I used this product. (I never again used Proactiv)- I thought to myself what kind of harsh chemicals must be in that product that could cause me to react so serverely. I knew that I never wanted to put such harsh chemicals on my face.

After many years suffering from breakouts I changed my diet to vegetarian this helped quite a bit with the occurances. Once I was on a vegetarian diet after a few years I would break out on ocassions not like before thats for sure, but I still had a pimple or two especialy around my monthly cycle. I finally changed my diet to a vegan diet- the benefits were as follows:

Extra energy all day
I needed less sleep 6-7 hrs daily
I had no more break outs (rarely)
I had no more bloating stomach!!
And I was happier & more postive

After a year or so I again developed a pimple once in a blue moon mainly around my cycle. I could not understand why??. I was eating a plant based,  80% healthy diet, I exercised, I used organic chemical free products only.

So what was it????

After 2 years of school and training I figured out why and how I got rid of acne and why I occassionally got pimples near my monthly cycle.

Acne or any skin condition is caused by a toxic overload in your body that cannot be eliminated other then through your skin pores, they become clogg up with bacteria and get infected. The trick is to reduce your toxic overload.

Diet plays a very big role in health as well as skin care. Now I am not saying everyone must get on a vegan diet to prevent pimple. But I will tell you that to significantly reduce your toxic exposure and chemicals you are injesting internally and externally will result in  less chances of developing  breakout on your skin of any kind. There are many supplements out there that can also help reduce your toxic loads.

What are the toxins that are surrounding you?
What are signs of toxicity?

Together I can help point out your toxins from your diet and your current lifestye. Please remember everyone has a different toxic load (like a credit card limit) and not everyone will experience acne, some may experience psoriasis, ezcema or even arthritis as a result of maxing out their own toxic load (credit card limit)

If you suffer from any skin conditions and would like help identifying what the culprit is and how to reduce or prevent it contact me .
